Laurie is a sound engineer, composer and filmmaker. After success releasing music with Universal Music Group, Axtone, Eli and Oz and Rallye whilst playing across the UK and Europe and receiving frequent airplay on BBC Radio 1, 6Music, Radio Scotland and Xfm, he turned his ears to sound engineering, in both studio and live environments. As a studio engineer he has cut his teeth mixing a variety of projects at Toolroom, Lighthouse studios, Abbey Road and Lost Oscillation. As a live engineer he’s worked at major festivals including Edinburgh International Festival, Hidden Door, Kelburn, Linkylea and all of Edinburgh’s main music venues. Ever keen to diversify his skills, he moved into video work and has directed multiple short films and music videos as well as composing and designing sound for the BBC and various other film projects.

Tom is a filmmaker, photographer and writer with a decade’s experience in Scotland’s creative sector. He has worked primarily in the visual arts and music industries, producing content for numerous musicians and arts organisations. As well as writing and directing several short films, he has served as a cinematographer and screenplay consultant for various other film projects. Storytelling is a key part of his visual practice. He holds an MSt in Creative Writing from the University of Oxford.
